Principal Duties:

• Greet and direct customers
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Issue receipts, refunds or change
• Ensure shelves and promotional displays are neatly stocked and clean
• Arrive for work as scheduled and prepared to work
• Participate in the maintenance of the store by keeping the store, restrooms, gas pumps and yard area clean
• Follow state and federal requirements pertaining to the sale of alcohol and tobacco products
• Accurately record all hours worked by clocking in and out for each shift
• Must have reliable transportation
• Valid Driver’s license and valid automobile insurance as required by law (if traveling between stores)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment like cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
